All this happened on February 18, the second day of the second Test of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy. On the next day, India wrapped up the game as the Aussies were bowled out for 113 runs. They lead by one run after the home team was bowled out on 262 on the second day.
Meanwhile, after getting the target of 115 runs, the Rohit Sharma-led side chased down after losing four wickets. With this win, India has taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the series. Meanwhile, in the post-match show, Dravid spoke about the famous incident with Kohli on February 18. In reply, the former India skipper Dravid revealed that Kohli got Chole Kulche and not Bhature as rumored by the fans.
“It wasn’t Chole Bhature, it was Kulcha Chole,” Dravid told the broadcasters.
Dravid added that he was asked to have some but he denied citing his age.
“He was tempting me with it but I said I’m 50 years old, I can’t handle so much cholesterol anymore,” said Dravid.
Virat Kohli's judgment of length was really good: Rahul Dravid
Meanwhile, during the game, Kohli scored 44 runs that were important from India's perspective. Dravid praised Kohli's batting and said that the latter judged the length well on a slow surface.
“I thought the judgement of length was really good, there was a sense of calm when he was playing which is a great sign,” said Dravid.
“These are tricky wickets, you can’t play the perfect innings and you need a bit of luck to go your way,” he added.
