Considered one of the greatest cricketers in history, Virat Kohli has gone through his worst patch in the past few years as he has struggled to find runs in all formats. The former India captain, however, found his rhythm and made a massive comeback by scoring his maiden T20 international century in the 2022 Asia Cup. Kohli's determination and perseverance has always been discussed and his return stands as an inspiration to all those who fail at a certain point in life.

Meanwhile, a question about Kohli's comeback in the 9th standard English question paper has gone viral on social media. Students were asked to describe in 100-120 words a photo of Virat Kohli celebrating his 71st international century against Afghanistan in the Asia Cup last year.

Excited to see such a question in an exam paper, fans took to social media to comment on how they would approach it if they had that question in one of their exams.

"Staying away from the game helped me": Kohli

Kohli, who ended his century drought against Afghanistan, continued his amazing form in last year's 20-20 World Cup, where he scored the match-winning knock against arch-rivals Pakistan. The 34-year-old later hit ODI centuries and proved that he is back in the shorter formats of the game.

However, he could not play an impressive innings in red-ball cricket and faced a lot of criticism for being in the playing 11. The ace batter shut all his critics by scoring his 75th international century in the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia.

Speaking on rediscovering himself again, Kohli said: "I needed to connect myself as a human first, not judge myself constantly or keep myself under the scrutiny all the time. Staying away from the game helped me. That helped me rediscover the excitement and love for the game. When I came back, everything was an opportunity, nothing was pressure.

"The results followed. I was able to play well in T20Is, ODIs, and recently in the Test series as well. I'm back to playing the way I do, there's still a lot of room to get to my best, which hopefully happens in the ITL if I get to the level I really want to play. That would help the team," Kohli said in a conversation with Bangalore franchise.
