Meanwhile, a few media reports have suggested that the star Indian wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson is likely to be the leading wicketkeeper against Ireland. Apart from that, there are also the assumptions that the young wicketkeeper-batter Ishan could be rested from this series against the Irish side.

“Sanju Samson is likely to be the main wicket-keeper for Ireland T20 series as Ishan might be rested looking at the Asia Cup,” a report in the ANI read.
