Shanto will not take any further part in the tournament: Bayjedul Islam
"The player had complained of hamstring pain during batting and could not field. We had an MRI scan done confirming a muscle tear. As a precaution, Shanto will not take any further part in the tournament and will be returning home to start rehab and prepare for the World Cup," Islam said.
On a positive note, Liton Das is set to return to the squad after recovering from viral fever. Das is known for his aggressive batting style and ability to score quick runs. His inclusion will certainly boost Bangladesh's chances in the upcoming matches.
