Uncapped Indian player files police complaint against former girlfriend

Former Rajasthan Royals player KC Cariappa has filed a case against his former lover. She is alleged to have threatened him to end his career. The person in question is also alleged to have threatened Cariappa's father, mother, and elder brother. On 31 December 2022, she filed a case against Cariappa. She alleged that the mystery spinner got her pregnant and forced her to abort.

On December 23, i.e. two days back, the 29-year-old decided to file a case against his ex-lover. She has been alleged to have promised to get married to the cricketer. However, from the player's point of view, he decided to end the relationship due to her being "drug addict, alcoholic, and promiscuous.”

Talking about Cariappa, he has played for the Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders from 2015-19. Apart from this, he played for Bijapur Bulls in the defunct Karnataka Premier League. Also, in the two-season-old Maharaja T20 League, Hubli Tigers and Shivamonga Strikers. Talking about his IPL career, he was part of the Royals side from 2021 to 2023. Ahead of the 2024 player auction, he was released from the team.
