Indian Cricket Fans are waiting anxiously as they look forward to the IPL 2024 auctions set to be held in Dubai on the 19th December. While the Auction is still a few weeks away there are discussions carried out on huge trade involved in the works. As per reports, Mumbai Indians team is trying to bring Hardik Pandya back to the Wankhede Stadium.
The report also goes on to say that Gujarat Titans might ask for Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma in return. This is where the deal could get tricky as the five time IPL winners don’t want to part ways with Rohit Sharma.

It was reported that Mumbai Indians are thinking of bringing Hardik Pandya back to the men in blue and gold outfit. The report also stated that Gujarat Titans seemingly have asked for Rohit Sharma the MI skipper in return.
Five-time IPL winners Mumbai Indians have supposedly told Gujarat Titans that their reluctance to part with Rohit Sharma. England pacer Jofra Archer has been offered for Hardik Pandya, skipper of the Gujarat franchise. Both the teams just have a few days as the IPL Trade Window is set to close on the 26th of November.
Hardik Pandya began his IPL Career with the Mumbai Indians in 2015 and went on to win four titles under Rohit Sharma. After a dismal IPL 2021 campaign, Hardik Pandya was released and the then 28-year-old was the first to be snapped up by the new Gujarat team.
According to some people who are aware of the situation, Mumbai Indians are looking to make Hardik Pandya captain from the 2025 season onwards. Rohit Sharma might step down as the skipper of the team after this season and concentrate on his game for the next few seasons.
