Here is a look at the Top Cricketers across all the three formats for Team India in 2022. The Men in Blue had a year to forget in 2022.

India did not end 2022 on a high as they could not get a second World Cup that they had been yearning for. The only good outings for Team India where when they were successful in bilateral series. That was the only success that Team India got in 2022. There were new players who stood out for the side though in a year where India could not clinch a world event.

The Indian Cricket Board honored the cricketers who had performed exceptionally well in the year 2022. The Indian Cricket Board through their Twitter handle gave a fitting award to the individual brilliance of one best batter and one best bowler in each of the three formats in the game.

Via a Tweet, The Indian Cricket Board gave full credits to Rishabh Pant and Jasprit Bumrah as the top batter-bowler pair in Test cricket for India in 2022. Pant was the highest run-getter for India in Tests as he scored 680 runs in seven matches at a great average of 61.81 with 146 runs as the highest score. While Bumrah took the highest number of wickets for India in the longest format of the game, getting 22 wickets in five matches.

The Indian team lost their last two ODI series in 2022

When it came to the One Day Format, The Indian Cricket Board hailed Iyer and Siraj as the top batter-bowler pair in One-Day Internationals (ODIs). In 17 matches, Iyer scored 724 runs and finished as the highest run-getter in ODIs for India in 2022. While Siraj became the highest wicket-taker with 24 wickets in 15 matches in the 50-over format.

In another tweet, The Indian Cricket Board put out the stats for Suryakumar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar as both emerged as the best batter-bowler performers for the team in 2022. Batter Suryakumar Scored 1164 runs in 31 matches and was the highest run-getter in T20Is. while Bhuvneshwar Kumar came out as the highest wicket taker in T20Is, picking 37 wickets in 32 matches.

The Indian Team have not been in the best of form after the 20-20 World Cup which was held in Australia. The lost two back-to-back ODI series against New Zealand and Bangladesh. They will look to rectify their flaws before the ODI World Cup 2023 which will be held at home,
