The new all-format captain of the Indian women’s cricket team, Harmanpreet Kaur is all set to lead the team in the first T20 international of the three-match series against Sri Lanka. The Indian team will be looking to set the tone for the upcoming Commonwealth games and the 20-20 world cup by getting a win under their belt and their preparation for the big events on the right track.

The Indian team will be coming into this series without the legendary Mithali Raj, who bid adieu to international cricket after her 23-year-long illustrious career. The women in blue will be seen in action for the first time after their disappointing campaign in the recently concluded women’s ODI World Cup.

India vs Sri Lanka women Schedule

The two teams will go head-to-head with each other in a three-match T20 series followed by a three-match ODI series. The T20 matches will be played on 21ST, 23RD and 27th June, starting at 2 pm(IST). The venue for all the matches will be Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, Dambulla. The three ODI matches will be played on July 1, July 4 and July 7 starting at 10 am(IST). The venue for all the matches will be Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Pallekele.
