After suffering a heart-crushing 4-wicket defeat against India, Pakistan lost their next game of the 20-20 World Cup 2022 against Zimbabwe on Thursday at Perth. The fans were disappointed to see their team lose against Zimbabwe in a World Cup encounter.
Despite restricting Zimbabwe to just 130 runs on the board, Pakistan couldn’t chase down the target in their allotted 20 overs in the second innings. With 2 defeats in 2 games, Pakistan’s chances of reaching the semi-finals have become extremely difficult.
They now have to win all the remaining matches by a big margin and expect some of the other results to go their way. The former cricketers from Pakistan didn’t shy away from bashing the team for such lackluster performance in the big-ticket event.
Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar minced no words to criticize the team. However, while bashing Pakistan, he also predicted that India will also make their back home after the semi-final clash in the World Cup as he thinks that India aren’t a great team either.

Akhtar's remark didn’t go down well with the Indian fans as they bashed him left, right and center. Here’s a look at some of the reactions:
