Zimbabwe's young sensation Innocent Kaia had a long-standing dream of meeting his idol, KL Rahul. He, recently, realized his dream after meeting the Indian cricketer during the India-Zimbabwe ODI series. Naturally, Kaia was over the moon and clicked a picture with India’s stand-in-captain.

India’s opening batter took some time after the game and spoke to Kaia about his game and praised him for scoring a hundred. Kaia grabbed eyeballs after he replicated Rahul’s iconic celebration upon reaching his maiden hundred against Bangladesh in the ODI series.

Upon reaching the landmark, he mimicked KL Rahul's celebration. It reminded everyone of Indian batter, KL Rahul, who does that celebration often at the Indian T20 League. Innocent Kaia did the same and the image of the celebration also went viral on social media.

The celebration relates to a person, who is only focused on scoring runs and is keen to put aside the outside noise and doesn’t think about the opinion of random people. The person focuses on the ultimate goal and that is to score runs for the team.

The Background

Innocent Kaia and Sikandar Raza hammered hundreds as Zimbabwe came back from a disastrous start to defeat Bangladesh by five wickets on Friday in the first match of a three-match ODI series. The hosts lost their openers Regis Chakabva and Tarisai Musakanda with just six runs on the board but went on to chase down a formidable target of 304.

Raza and Kaia came together to put on 192 runs for the fourth wicket and set up a brilliant victory as Zimbabwe reached 307-5 with 10 balls to spare. Raza was unbeaten on 135, which included six sixes and eight fours. Kaia struck two sixes and 11 fours in his 110 before being caught by Shoriful Islam at short fine leg.
