India and Ireland are all set to play a T20 series after 4 years. The Indian team will be led by Hardik Pandya while the Irish team will be captained by Andrew Balbirnie. The two teams have played against each other thrice and India have come out on top on all three occasions. The two teams met for the first time in T20 internationals during the 20-20 world cup in 2009 at Trent Bridge in Nottingham.

They played a bilateral T20 series for the first time in the year 2018. The upcoming series will be the second time the two teams play a bilateral series in T20 internationals.

The Indian team is looking to test as many players as they can before the 20-20 world cup later this year. Ireland's team hasn’t played in any competitive cricket in any of the three formats since they played in the Men’s 20-20 World Cup Qualifiers in February this year. The Irish team will be keen to win their first game against the No 1 ranked side in the world.

IND VS IRE SCHEDULE

The first T20 will be played on 26th June at 9:00 pm (IST) at The Village, Dublin. The second T20 will be played at the same venue on 28th June at 9:30 pm (IST).
