After registering a comfortable six-wicket victory in the 1st T20I against Afghanistan, Team India is set to face the rising Afghanistan team in the 2nd T20I at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. After inviting Afghanistan to bat on a cold January evening in Mohali, India restricted them to a sub-par total of 158 runs on a good Mohali track.
Axar Patel and Mukesh Kumar shined for India by picking two wickets each while Mohammad Nabi was the pick of the batters for Afghanistan who played an aggressive knock of 42 runs in just 27 balls with some useful contributions from Azmatullah Omarzai and Najibullah Zadran.
Shivam Dubey was the best batter for the Indian side after a horrendous mix-up between the wickets at the start between the Indian openers which resulted in the departure of Rohit Sharma for a duck. Shivam Dubey played a blistering knock of 60 runs in just 40 balls with 5 fours and two towering sixes. India chased down the target of 159 runs easily with 6 wickets and 15 balls to spare.

The question generated varied responses from players while some highlighted the markets of Indore, others praised the cleanliness that is associated with the city of Indore. But the common thing that most of the players highlighted was the food of Indore especially ‘Poha’ which is among the speciality of Indore.
Indore is Rahul Dravid’s in-laws town and Shubman Gill was quick to highlight this fact. The video ended with Avesh Khan welcoming everyone in Indore as he is the local boy here. The 2nd T20I will take place in Indore on the 14th of January from 7 PM local time.
