The second semi-final of the 20-20 World Cup 2022 is underway and Jos Buttler has asked India to bat first after winning the toss. Looking at England’s strong batting line-up and the Adelaide pitch, India are ought to put on a big score on the board.

Indian batter, KL Rahul started off with the right intention as he cut Woakes behind square for a boundary on the very first ball of the match. However, he couldn’t continue, thereafter, and, once again, got out in a big game of the World Cup.

Coming in his second over, Woakes bowled one to seam away a tad bit with extra bounce on offer. KL Rahul, perhaps, wasn’t expecting that and he tried to get on top of the bounce but it got too big on him. Rahul, eventually, edged it only for the keeper to take the catch. KL Rahul, eventually, departed after scoring just 5 runs in 5 balls.

Yet again, in a massive game of a World Cup, the Indian opener failed to live up to the potential. Following KL Rahul's wicket, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli tried to rebuild the innings but haven't been able to score runs as freely as they would want. Sharma struggled to score boundaries at regular intervals and eventually got out after scoring 27 runs in 28 balls at a strike rate of under 100.

Virat Kohi, though, is still at the crease unbeaten on 25 off 21 balls. Suryakumar Yadav has just come out in the middle and India have lost two wickets for 62 runs in the first 10 overs.
