It was one of the most nail-biting football matches ever played

Earlier he had showered high praise on Argentina for their wonderful exhibition of football during the World Cup final.  “One of the greatest World Cup games of all time. Mbappe was outstanding for France, but it was meant to be Lionel Messi’s crowning moment. Congratulations Argentina on becoming the #FIFAWorldCup champions,” The Former India opener had written in a tweet.

In what was one of the most closely fought World Cup finals in the history of football, Argentina had their noses in front till the 80th minute where they did not give France even a sniff to get back into the game but the French had the brilliance of Kylian Mbappe to thank as he scored two goals in quick succession to get France back in the game, the scores were tied 3-3 after extra time before Argentina pulled in back in penalties.

In a World Cup that has been a tournament for the ages in Qatar, fans all over the World and the host country have been treated to some scintillating Football of the highest quality which has led to people calling the FIFA World Cup 2022 as the best World Cup of all time. Qatar also has to be given kudos as a host nation for delivering an event that was totally worth it. They also made the World Cup more accessible to the differently abled.
