Gujarat Titans were on the wrong end of the match in a nail-biting thriller against Kolkata Knight Riders. The team was easily heading to an easy win when KKR required 30 runs off six balls in the last over. But things went extremely south for them when Yash Dayal got hit for five consecutive sixes by the star KKR batter Rinku Singh.
Subsequently, the Indian cricketing corridors were filled up with a lot of discussions and debates over Rinku Singh and Yash Dayal in the aftermath of the match between both teams. A lot of cricket experts and fans poured out their sympathies for the young pacer Yash Dayal after a nightmarish outing in the last over to Rinku Singh.
Meanwhile, the star Gujarat Titans all-rounder Rahul Tewatia has come up with a big statement and revelation in the dressing room talks after Yash Dayal’s last over against KKR and GT’s loss in a nail-biting thriller. Tewatia went on to share the things after the Titans’ recent win against Punjab Kings by a margin of six wickets.
"He was one of our main bowlers. We became champion last season and he played a massive role in it. He bowled well with the new ball as well in the death last year. One match cannot change the fact of what he has done for us. I think nobody in the team has given him any sympathy,” said Tewatia during the press conference after the match against Punjab Kings.
Here's what Rahul Tewtaia said about Yash Dayal
"I told him, 'One match has gone bad. If you want to go down then only you can hit the rock bottom otherwise at GT no one will ever make you feel bad about it. Keep practicing and execute what didn't happen that day and wait for your chance. This is the worst, you can't go any lower than this," he added later.
