The fourth Test of Ashes 2023 between England and Australia has been exhilarating so far. While Australia could not capitalize on the good start, England just went berserk and never looked back. Zack Crawley scored a fantastic 189 (182) and changed the match in a matter of two sessions. Joe Root and Moeen Ali aided Crawley well as they scored 84 (95) and 54 (82) respectively.

While the on-field action has been intense, the news has not been great off the field. Manchester is reportedly set to have rain showers towards the last couple of days of the Test. On Saturday, heavy showers are predicted and on Sunday, rain is set to interrupt the game. This might be bad news for English supporters, as they are in a really good position in the Test and are in a must-win situation to stay alive in the series.

Speaking about the same, the English commentator expressed his disappointment over the weather and scheduling. The former English captain further expressed his opinions on how England’s strategy must be. “I think they've (England) got to go really ultra-aggressive,” said Hussain.

'The forecast is poor' - Nasser Hussain

Nasser felt that England must score at a brisk rate to give themselves some time in the Test. “Either way - if they get bowled out, the game has progressed. You don't want to be left on Sunday night thinking: 'I wish we'd just given ourselves another half hour’. And if they don't get bowled out, you can imagine them going at seven or eight runs an over, and then their lead will be massive, which will buy them time for the weather,” added Hussain.

“The forecast is poor. Everyone is going to say: 'Why do you keep going on about the forecast?' But it is poor. Really bad for Saturday, not great for Sunday” concluded Hussain. England would want to score as many runs as possible on Day 3 and declare their innings quickly so that they could have a go at the batters of Australia.
