Prasidh Krishna has impressed the fans and former cricketers with his performances so far in international cricket. There is no denying that he has been a rising star in Indian Cricket. The former New Zealand, all-rounder Scott Styris heaped praise on him, stating that Krishna has got all that it takes to make it big on the international stage.

"He's brilliant with a new ball in his hand. The question about Prasidh Krishna is at the death. We've seen him in the Indian T20 league," Styris said. The former New Zealand all rounder added that the next six months would be an important one for Krishna. He has gone around the park when trying to bowl yorkers and when he is under pressure. So, he's great at the front. I think the next 12 months are big for his development. Can he nail the back half of the innings? If he does that, I'll actually have him on my side," Styis added.

The Indian pacer has made massive strides in his career since making his debut in Indian T20 League. He is currently part of India's white-ball set-up and will be looking to make a case for the upcoming 20-20 World Cup 2022 and the 50 over World Cup 2023.

Drawing his comparison with great fast bowler, Glenn McGrath, Styris said,

"Yeah, not a bad comparison. I would say that Prasidh Krishna is a little bit quicker than Glen McGrath, there's no question about that. But the question is, can he sustain that throughout the whole innings?" Styris questioned.

He said that the young Indian bowler is naturally good for ODI cricket. He believes Prasidh can shine more in the ODI format of the game as compared to other formats.

"If we're talking ODIs then upfront I think there's no question. Pace and bounce as a batsman, from experience, is the hardest thing to play. He's got that in spades," Styris concluded.
