'Hello Yadav' - Cricketer Amanda Wellington's hilarious response to Suryakumar Yadav's tweet leaves netizens in splits

Indian batter, Suryakumar Yadav has been making waves in world cricket with his batting masterclass in white-ball cricket. He has had a great outing with the bat in the recently concluded 20-20 World Cup 2022. The Mumbai batter finished the tournament as the third-highest run-getter. In 6 matches, he managed to score 239 runs at an average of 59.75 and a strike rate of 189.68.

Unfortunately, India couldn’t win the World Cup as England knocked them out in the semi-finals. India will now be touring New Zealand for three T20Is and as many ODIs. Suryakumar Yadav, meanwhile, has reached New Zealand in a bid to start his preparations.

But, before the start of the series, he has already made the headlines, thanks to a funny moment involving Australia’s women cricketer Amanda-Jade Wellington on Twitter. Upon landing in Wellington, New Zealand, Suryakumar Yadav took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “Hello Wellington,”.

Australian women’s cricketer, Amanda-Jade Wellington took this as an opportunity to make a hilarious response on Suryakumar’s post. She left everyone in splits by writing, “Hello, Yadav," in the comment section.

Suryakumar Yadav hit as many as three half-centuries in the World Cup against the Netherlands, South Africa, and Zimbabwe, helping India reach the semi-final of the tournament. Unfortunately, he got out cheaply in the semi-final against England and India lost that game by 10 wickets.

He is, currently, the number 1 ranked 20-20 batter in the world with 869 points under his belt. Yadav has made 40 appearances for India so far in his international cricket career, making 1284 runs at an average and a strike rate of 41.4 and 179 respectively.

Besides, he has played 13 ODIs as well and has 340 runs to his name at 34.00. Meanwhile, India will be playing three T20Is and three ODIs against New Zealand, starting 18th November 2022 on Friday.
