Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane is set to lose their striker as Bayern Munich is set to make a £94.5 million bid, as per transfer rumours. Earlier, Spurs and Bayern were apart £25 million in their discussion after the last meeting, but now with the new amount, the German Giants are set to strike the deal.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has been holding Harry Kane for £100 million despite the fact that the English skipper is on the verge of expiring his contract at the English Premier League (EPL). In the last fixture, Spurs won the game 5-1 against Shakhtar Donetsk, interestingly, Kane scored four goals in that victory. Whereas Munich has given assurance to increase the bid amount for the English skipper to €110 million (£94.5 million) to get the deal locked, it looks like Tottenham will be without Kane in their next season, as reported by Times.
“The German club hope to conclude the signing this week, while Tottenham, who have been holding out for £100 million, would prefer the bulk of the payment to be paid upfront. Bayern’s last bid, which was rejected, was for £73 million rising to £86 million,’ as put by The Times.
Apart from Harry Kane going to Munich, other prominent transfer rumours from EPL-
Steven Gerrard, the manager of Saudi Pro League club Al-Ettifaq has denied any interest in signing Liverpool star Mohamed Salah for the Saudi League. Chelsea, the English club, will have new shirt sponsors as they have a £40 million+ sponsorship deal with an American company. Interestingly, Manchester United's new signing Rasmus Hojlund is recovering from a back injury, which will limit his playing time as the season begins. Hojlundas was signed for £72 million.
United intended to open formal talks with their right back, as the side is set to extend the contract of Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Whereas, the Arsenal side is eyeing Barcelona’s young defender Ansu Fati to play in the EPL, but it looks like the Spanish club has rejected the offer.
