England skipper Harry Kane has joined Bundesliga club Bayern Munich as he leaves Tottenham Hotspur after 19 years at the club. The German Giants signed a four-year deal with Kane, as the 30-year-old striker will be with them till the year 2027. In terms of the deal, Spurs are said to have accepted a deal worth more than €100 million (£86.4 million) for their star striker after rejecting a number of bids in recent weeks.
The England skipper will be wearing the number nine shirt for Bayern and could feature for the German Giants in their fixture against RB Leipzig. As per reports, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy agreed to a total package of £120m with add-ons. Although, Harry is one of the tweeters who addressed his former club and next shared about the warm welcome he received in Munich Germany.
“It’s not a goodbye because you never know how things pan out in the future,” Kane said in a video on X, previously known as Twitter. “But it’s a thank you and I’ll see you soon,” he added.
Intriguingly, Kane came up through Tottenham's youth system and is the club's all-time greatest scorer, with 280 goals in 435 games. The 30-year-old is understood to have wanted his future resolved before the start of the English Premier League (EPL) season, with Spurs facing Brentford in their first game on Sunday.

In an interview with Bayern Munich, Kane said, “I am happy to be here. I think Bayern are one of the biggest clubs in the world. I want to keep improving and pushing myself to be the very best, I felt it was the right step in my career.
In the end, this historic move will give Kane the opportunity to play in the league which is dominated by his club, as Munich have won the previous 11 German league titles. Kane during his 15-year career for the Spurs was not able to win the trophy and also failed to qualify for the Europa League this season.
