Star footballer Harry Kane attended a match six of The Hundred 2022 held at Lord's cricket stadium. While commentating alongside former India coach Ravi Shastri, Kane revealed that he's a fan of the Bangalore team. The 29-year-old footballer said on air that he loves the Bangalore team. It is a well-known fact that Indian legend Virat Kohli and Harry Kane are great friends off the field.

Earlier, Kane had told Star Sports this year that he chose to cheer the Bangalore team just because Virat Kohli was playing for the team. He added that he loved watching all of them but was a fan of the Delhi-based batter.

"So my team is Bangalore. Obviously, I have been lucky enough to meet Virat Kohli a few times and speak with him. So I kind of picked the team to watch him. They have picked up some good players this time. They were unlucky last year but they did the right things this year, they started well. There are some great teams at the IPL. I just like watching all of them to be honest but hopefully, Bangalore can go well," Kane said to Star Sports earlier this year.

It all started when Harry Kane took to Twitter to express his 'disappointment' in not being selected to play for Bangalore in January 2021. The star footballer said that he might have to only cheer the boys rather than play for the team.

London Spirit shines in Match 6 of The Hundred 2022:

London Spirit outclassed Manchester Originals in match six of The Hundred 2022. The Spirit thrashed Manchester Originals by 52 runs. Eoin Morgan, Zak Crawley and Kieron Pollard powered the Spirit to 160 in hundred balls. Kieron Pollard smashed four 6s off the eleven balls that he faced.

Manchester Originals' lack of intent was well visible as they were bundled out for just 108. Jordan Thompson thumped the Originals with a four-for. With this defeat, Manchester Originals have not got off to a poor start as they have lost both the matches.
