‘Har India ke match ke baad isne injured hona hota hai’ – Fans react after Naseem Shah gets ruled of Asia Cup 2023

The Asia Cup 2023 tournament is reaching its final stages. India has already made it to the finals with a 41-run win over Sri Lanka. The second finalist will be decided on Thursday. Pakistan and Sri Lanka will play each other in a bid to join India for the final game on Sunday.

Ahead of the big game against Sri Lanka there is bad news for Pakistan cricket fans. Naseem Shah the 20-year-old Pakistani seam bowler is ruled out of the tournament. The right-handed pace bowler was injured during the game against India on Monday.

Naseem Shah’s latest injury adds to Pakistan’s woes 

Already facing criticism post the 228-run loss to India, there was more misery for Pakistan. Star pace bowler, Naseem Shah has been ruled out of the Asia Cup 2023 tournament. It is believed that the youngster suffered an injury to his shoulder during the game against India last Sunday.

Naseem Shah bowled 9.2 overs and gave away 53 runs without picking a wicket. Shah was bowling the 50^th over when he stopped and he was tended to by the medical team. Naseem Shah did not come out to bat as the match ended with 8 wickets down.

This injury will keep the Pakistan team management and its fans on the tenterhooks. With the ODI World Cup coming close, an injury to the shoulder will leave everyone worried. Naseem was bowling well in the early part of the game against Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill.

There was another injury concern for Pakistan when Haris Rauf did not report to action on Monday. It was said the Pakistani pacer was feeling discomfort and the move not to let him bowl was a precaution. Haris Rauf, like Naseem , did not come out and bat during their loss to India.

While Haris Rauf hasn’t been ruled out yet, Naseem’s replacement has been named. Young Zaman Khan will be the player to come in for him. The young quick is yet, to make his international debut and could do so on Thursday. Shahnawaz Dahani has already been named the likely replacement for Haris Rauf.
