Sachin Tendulkar, the veteran Indian cricketer, has always been appreciative of legends of other sports. Now, he has named his favourite footballer during a Q&A session on Twitter. The veteran cricketer took some time to answer questions from his fans.

While a load of questions came in for the cricketer, Tendulkar tried to answer as many questions as he could during the short time. One of the questions that popped in was about his favourite footballer.

The 49-year-old answered the question with an image of Lionel Messi with the World Cup trophy. Notably, Messi recently won the 2022 FIFA World Cup in December last year. The Argentine completed his legacy with his first-ever World Title.

In the meantime, Tendulkar also answered many more questions during this time. A fan posted an image of Sachin and Virat Kohli from the 2011 World Cup final when the latter walked into bat. "What did you tell Virat at this moment?" questioned the fan. Sachin responded, "Ab bhi ball thoda swing ho raha hai!"

Another user asked the legend what advice he gave to Arjun Tendulkar- his son- when he first took up cricket. "What was the first advice you gave to Arjun after he was determined to play Professional cricket?" asked the fan. "ARE YOU SURE????????" Sachin replied.

Meanwhile, it was a memorable moment for the Tendulkar family when Arjun bowled a brilliant stint against Sunrisers Hyderabad in his Indian Premier League (IPL) debut a few nights ago. With SRH needing 20 runs in the penultimate over, skipper Rohit Sharma threw the ball to Arjun, who gave up only five runs and took his first IPL wicket.

He dismissed Bhuvneshwar Kumar for 178 runs on the second last ball of the over, leading his team to a comfortable 14-run victory. The left-arm bowler concluded with figures of 1/18 in 2.5 overs, which impressed everyone, including Sachin Tendulkar
