Virat Kohli returns to Mumbai due to emergency reasons –
Indian Cricket fans were jolted when they got to know that Virat Kohli hasn’t travelled with the squad. The news soon spread like wildfire as speculations reached fever pitch. Thankfully the reasons soon came to be known as the fans heaved a sigh of relief.
As per CRICBUZZ, Virat Kohli had to fly back to Mumbai to be with his family. The reason stated by a source in the Indian Cricket Board was emergency family reasons. It is rumoured that Virat Kohli and his wife are going to be parents for the second time. The source also said that the 34-year-old will be back in time for the Netherlands game on Tuesday.
The Indian team will hope for some practice after their game on Saturday against England was washed out. Guwahati saw heavy storm and downpour just after the toss was completed. The two teams had no choice but to head back to the hotel as the game was called off.
