Aakash Chopra, the Indian cricketer turned commentator, has earned a lot of respect with his analysis and predictions. Although the batter did not have a prolific career, Chopra made his mark as an analyst post his retirement and vindicated it further with his right predictions.

However, the former cricketer does receive a lot of hate on social media and many opine that he does not have a right to be an analyst. On October 11, Tuesday, Chopra had a verbal scuffle with a fan on Twitter for putting up his international and Indian T20 League record in reply to the former’s hilarious video.

Chopra reviewed the second ODI between India and South Africa played on Sunday which the Men in Blue won by 7 wickets. However, in reply to his video, a fan said that he had no right to talk about cricket.

“Please explain your career too. What is this? How can you talk about cricket? When you are a failed cricketer,” the fan said posting an image of Chopra’s records. However, the commentator quickly replied saying that the fan was not a cricketer either and he had no right to talk about cricket.

“I googled you…found no career in cricket or otherwise. Going by your logic, how can you talk about me?? When you a ________ person in life? On a serious note : get a life, my friend. Love you,” Chopra said in reply to the fan.

India will take on South Africa in third ODI on Tuesday

After losing the first ODI against the Proteas, the Indian army led by Shikhar Dhawan bounced back in the second ODI played at Ranchi on Sunday. Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer starred with the bat and the southpaw missed his century by 7 runs. However, Iyer, who stayed unbeaten till the end, scored a mammoth 113 and helped India win the game.

The Men in Blue will take on South Africa on Tuesday and it will be the decider. It will be a big opportunity for Shubman Gill, who is yet to play an impact inning in the series. On the other hand, Kishan and Iyer will look to carry on with the form and make a mark for themselves.
