India have been in wonderful form in the 20-20 World Cup 2022 in the Super 12 stages where they have got four wins from five games. Now they will want to continue the momentum into the crucial semi-final clash against England.

One of the critical factors for India has been the form of Suryakumar Yadav. India’s middle-order batter has scored 225 runs in five innings in this edition. He has been the fulcrum of India’s middle order and has played game-changing knocks in crunch situations for the country.

Speaking on the same, former Australia batter Michael Hussey has said that he is a fan of Suryakumar’s batting and enjoys watching him play. He was taking about the India- England game. Hussey is the batting consultant for England in this World Cup.

Here is what he had to say, "He's been sensational and has been doing it for a number of years in the Indian T20 League. And now to do it consistently at the highest level, it's great to watch. Personally, love watching him bat. Obviously, I hope he doesn't get a big score against England on Thursday (laughs)," Hussey told Sportstar.

India and England have had some mouth-watering clashes over the years and after a long gap, the two sides are facing each other in a World Cup clash, this is what Hussey had to say ahead of the crucial encounter.

"India are a fantastic team, and we knew that coming into the tournament. We have to be very close to our best to really challenge them and win the match. And maybe, it'll just be one or two little things. Whether they go for us or they go against us could be the difference between winning and losing the match," added Hussey.

"It's going to be a great spectacle - two fantastic teams and they'll both be going as hard as they possibly can. It's the World Cup semifinal, and that prize to make it to the final at the MCG is pretty motivating. So, it should be a great contest." The 47-year-old said.
