Manchester City has been on a role in these last few seasons of the Premiere League. In fact, the Citizens had won the treble last season winning the Premier league, Champions League and the FA Cup. The team has really prospered under decorated football manager Pep Guardiola. With players like Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva and Ederson, the Sky Blues has made a habit of winning games everywhere.
The player who was the big star and is still amongst the goals is Norwegian striker Erling Haaland. Haaland went onto win the golden boot for City scoring 36 goals in the Premier league as well as in the Champions League with 12 goals. There is no question that Haaland might be a future star in the football world with performances like this. City has really found a world class striker to replace the legendary Sergio Aguero.
Erling Haaland destroying Luton Town
The 5th round of the FA Cup City was up against Luton Town. This was another Haaland goal scoring phenomena. Manchester City had won it comfortably beating the amateur Luton Town boys with a score of 6-2. Haaland and city were at their complete best, where mid fielders Mateo Kovacic and Kevin De Bruyne were easily finding space and Haaland was making his exceptional runs inside the box. There might have been some great strikes From Luton Town mid fielder Jordan Clarke, but that wasn’t enough to go up against the world class Haaland.

This makes Haaland the first city player to score 5 goals twice. These are great performances from the 23-year-old forward. This might still be early days for Haaland in his football career, but he is already making a name for himself scoring 50+ goals in just his second Premier league season. This makes the future of Manchester City even greater, with a lot of world class players like Haaland in the mix.
