Former India opening batter, Virender Sehwag uploaded a screengrab of a famous food joint that misspelled his name. Apparently, in the image uploaded by him on Twitter, the top side of the home page reads "Vasu's favorite coming soon." Notably, Sehwag's half-face was used to promote the upcoming Burger. The two-time World Cup winner took to Twitter and captioned "MY NAME IS VIRENDER SEHWAG".

Notably, the organization and the right-hander have joined hands for brand promotion. As it turns out, it has gone horribly wrong. In reply, the food joint wrote "Ooppppps #WhatsHappening."

By the time they realized their mistake, some other organizations from other fields have been taking a jibe at the food joint. They are coming up with hilarious comments on the matter. Meanwhile, it will be interesting how this thing turned out. Apparently, these things can easily lead to social media trolls and a bad name for the organization. Not to forget, the former India opening batter has a good amount of fan base.

Since him joining the micro-blogging website in 2012, he has been famous for his sense of humor. Now, the company might feel uncomfortable with something like this surfacing on the internet on such a large scale. Not to forget, Bollywood actress and Virat Kohli's wife Anushka Sharma slammed another brand for 'using her image without consent on Instagram'. For a while, the brand remained silent and said nothing.

After sustaining quite a lot of trolls, the brand issued a valid statement saying that the entire episode was planned. After this, the netizens slammed the actress for 'cheap publicity'. It will be interesting to see whether this was a genuine mistake or a method of brand promotion.
