This year, a one-day mini-auction will be held. Here we will have a look at five players that could be released by the Bangalore Franchise.

Like all other teams, the Bangalore side will be looking to fine-tune all areas in the squad so that they can be all in readiness for the next edition of the Indian T20 League. The Bold Army will look to release some players and make some purchases to slightly revamp their side heading into the next season.

- He has been sort of a lucky charm in the Indian T20 League circles as he has been part of four Indian T20 League winning teams Hyderabad, Mumbai, and twice Chennai except for when he was with the Bangalore franchise. He has picked up 59 wickets from 68 matches.

He was picked up as an Indian wrist-spinning option and as a backup to Sri Lanka’s spin wizard Wanindu Hasaranga but his services were not required by the Bangalore side as Hasaranga was in sizzling form for the franchise where he picked up 26 wickets in just 16 matches at an outstanding economy rate of 7.54.

Mahipal Lomror

He was seen as a long-range six-hitter and someone who can bowl handy overs with his left-arm spin. He has played twelve Indian T20 League matches in which he has made 197 runs He was a part of the Rajasthan domestic setup since 2016 and made his Indian T20 League debut in 2018.

He was brought in as someone for Bangalore who can be a middle-order batter and someone who can bowl some handy overs of left-arm spin but it was not to be as he got very limited opportunities to represent the Bold Army. He could not live up to his reputation and could be released by the Bangalore franchise.

The hard-hitting left-handed batter from the West Indies made a name for himself in the GT20 in Canada with the West Indies B Team where they won an edition and also by playing T10 Cricket in Abu Dhabi.

He, unfortunately, could not have the same impact for the Men in Red as he got limited opportunities due to a settled playing XI that was drafted in by the Bangalore side more often than not. He got only two chances to play for the Bangalore side against Kolkata and Rajasthan where he scored 5 and 28 respectively.

Siddarth Kaul

He was first picked by the Hyderabad franchise and his best time was in 2017 he picked up 15 wickets in the season for the Orange Army. This was one of the standout seasons for him. He was also used as a death bowler for the side under the captaincy of David Warner.

But he failed to replicate the same form for the Bold Army. He was picked up as an Indian backup to Josh Hazelwood and did not get too many opportunities to represent the Bangalore franchise. He played only one match against the Gujarat franchise where he went for 43 runs off his four overs at a high economy rate of 10.75.

Anuj Rawat

The hard-hitting wicket-keeper batter was brought by the Bangalore side for his big-hitting abilities at the top of the order for a whopping 3.40 crore he was brought to give a good start for the Bold Army at the top of the order. Unfortunately, it did not transpire.

Rawat did not live up to his billing for the bold army as he scored only 129 runs in eight games for the Bangalore franchise and he had only one innings of note against Mumbai franchise where he scored 66 off 47 balls where he hit two fours and two sixes to score his first Indian T20 League fifty, To widen their auction purse the Bangalore management could release him.
