Group F brought two heavyweights in Croatia and Belgium against each other. The 2018 World Cup finalists have moved onto the next round while Belgium have crashed out of World Cup. Let's see how the final two games of Group F panned out.

Croatia vs Belgium (0-0)

Billed as one of the biggest games of the group stage, Belgium vs Croatia was a do-or-die match for both. The number 2 ranked team Belgium came into the match after a dressing room controversy that had rocked the entirety of Belgium football.

Croatia needed just a draw to get through to the Round of 16 and that is exactly what they did. Belgium's golden generation huffed and puffed but could not get a goal past Croatia and as a result have crashed out of the FIFA World Cup 2022.

Luka Modric led Croatia who played the 2018 World Cup final against France live to have their say in the World Cup with this draw. With 5 points they have qualified for the Round of 16.

Canada vs Morocco (1-2)

Morocco were dealt a difficult draw and were expected to play second fiddle to both number 2-ranked Belgium and 2018 World Cup finalists Croatia. They have however ended the Group stage as the top team from Group F. Against Canada the African came out flying and scored a goal in 4 minutes as Hakim Ziyech latched onto a loose ball at the edge of the box and opened the scoring.

Morocco doubled the lead with Youssef En-Nesyri's goal in the 23rd minute and looked all set for Round of 16 qualifications. In the 40th minute, they were given a scare as their own goals threatened to sidetrack their campaign but the Morrocoan defence held up and came out with a win.
