Switzerland and Cameroon squared off in the Group G fixture at the FIFA World Cup 2022. The only goal in the match was scored by Embolo for Switzerland who won 1-0. Xhaka slid the ball down the right to Shaqiri, who then found Embolo in the middle of the box. The striker zoomed the ball past Onana, who did not have any chance of stopping it. The goal happened in the 48th minute of the second half.
South Korea vs Uruguay
South Korea and Uruguay faced off against each other in the Group H match. In the end, neither side were able to outdo the other and it ended in a stalemate which resulted in shared points for both teams. Both teams had their scoring chances, but they failed to capitalise on them. South Korea looked the better side of the day.
Ghana vs Portugal
Cristiano Ronaldo put his name in the history books as he became the first man to score in five world cups when he scored the first goal for Portugal. Portugal had a tight 3-2 win over Ghana. The record was set in the 65th minute. Ghana are currently sitting at the bottom of the group.
Brazil vs Serbia
Brazil were too good for Serbia as they scored two goals in the space of nine minutes by Richarlison which did not give Serbia any chance of coming back in the second half. The game happened at Lusail Stadium. This was a Group G encounter. For an Hour, Brazil was held by the European Team, before Brazil put their noses in front.
