The ninth season of the Pro Kabaddi League is almost upon us. With the sport gaining unprecedented popularity every year, the buzz around the tournament is even higher this time around. Naturally, the sport continues to bring in money and better players as a result of it. One such player is Fazel Atrachali who was roped in by Penueri Paltan for a sensational Rs 1.38 Crores in the PKL auction this year, making him the most expensive defender in the league.
The Pune team has also signed Iranian player Mohammad Nabibakhsh, a move which has been welcomed by Antrachali as well. In an exclusive chat on the Sportskeeda show ‘Kabaddi Hangout’ Atrachali revealed his tactic for the upcoming PKL and said that he will communicate with Nabibakhsh in Persian so the Indian raiders cannot understand their strategy.
"In our national team also, he (Nabibakhsh) is my second man, so he can help me for my tackle. And also, one other thing. We can talk Persian with each other. We can make some plan. All Indian raiders, they don't know this, and we can also help each other," said Fazel Atrachali.
I had little problems in terms of support, but now I have Nabibakhsh- Fazel Atrachali
He has outlined the support that Nabibakhsh brings to Atrachali. He said, "It's working, it is helping me a lot because in India, all raiders think about raiding and they are not helping
"I have to say that thank you so much because after I joined Puneri Paltan, they have been very kind to me. It is a pleasure. They are very friendly. So thank you so much. Support Puneri Paltan,” concluded Atrachali.
Puneri Paltan start their Pro Kabaddi League 2022 campaign with a game against Patna Pirates on October 8th in Kanteerava Stadium in Bangalore.
