Players such as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are regarded as two of the greatest footballer in the current era. Over the years, there is always a huge debate among the fans around both players. However, the chairperson of Great Yarmouth Borough Council’s environment committee, Paul Wells came up with an interesting idea. He decided to come up with cigarette bins to vote for either player.
Wells said that cigarette butts (the tail end) are one of the most common forms of litter. He pointed out that it can be harmful to the environment. Wells also spoke about how the ballot bins can be helpful in reducing the problem and also voting for the best footballer. He also recommended other organizations to try it.
“Cigarette butts are one of the most common forms of litter and they can be harmful to the environment.
“These ballot bins will help reduce the number of cigarette butts that litter our community.”
"I recommend any organisation try this solution as it provides a bit of fun for users while solving an age-old problem," Mr Stubbs added.
