Virender Sehwag wowed people all over the world with his stroke play and has made people sit up and take notice of his attacking brand of cricket during his playing days. He made batting look so simple, and the best part was that he always seemed to enjoy his time on the field. He would even, at times, sing songs and bat, which was amazing to see throughout his career.
Sehwag had a stellar record across formats. He scored 8,273 runs in 251 ODIs at an average of 35.05 and a strike rate of 104.33. He also had the highest score of 219 which was the only double hundred that he had in ODIs. When it came to the Test matches, he scored 8,586 runs at an average of 49.34 and a strike rate of 82.23.
Cricket and Bollywood have formed an inseparable bond over the years due to sports biopics. Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s biopic was a massive success, and other than this, there have been many sports biopics on various sports personalities such as MC Mary Kom and Mithali Raj. We might also have another upcoming biopic on Sehwag.
Sports biopics and Bollywood have been a great combination
He was spotted at a film set in a picture which has now gone viral. He was in a unique get-up on the sets of Zee. The picture sent the fans into a tizzy, and they were quick to speculate that there would be a biopic on him and that he is shooting for it at the moment.
