Tushar Deshpande, in the game between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League 2023, picked the priceless wicket of MI captain Rohit Sharma. The batter looked set to take on CSK's bowling unit, but Deshpande's brilliant delivery rattled his stumps.

However, after the game, fake news of the bowler's comments on the Mumbai Indians and the Indian skipper went viral. "Taking Rohit Sharma's wickets is so easy He is not somebody like Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers," Deshpande had said as per the fake news.

The emerging pacer from the CSK setup has now debunked the rumour on his Instagram story. He shared a collage of fake news with the sign "Fake" on it.  "I have absolute respect for all the legends mentioned above. I did not, would not make any such demeaning statements. Stop spreading fake news," he wrote in the story.
