Young pacer Prasidh Krishna also picked up one wicket as England got bowled out for just 110 runs in 25.2 overs.

Coming to the chase, the Men in Blue cruised through in spanking fashion with skipper Rohit Sharma smashing an aggressive fifty with the bat and this gave Team India the all-important series lead of 1-0 heading into the second one-dayer. The Indian Team will look to extend its dominance during the second ODI, scheduled to be played on Thursday, July 14.
