India and West Indies are clashing against each other in the 3rd match of the ongoing 5-match T20I series at the Providence Stadium in Guyana on Tuesday, August 8. The Indian team have to win the match at any cost to stay in the series. They lost the first two games of the series and Windies took a 2-0 lead over the Men in Blue.

Meanwhile, 21-year-old youngster Yashasvi Jaiswal made his T20I debut in the 3rd match of the series. After back-to-back poor performances by Ishan Kishan in the first 2 matches, he got replaced by Jaiswal in the 3rd contest. Jaiswal was in terrific form in the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) and it’d be interesting to see if continues his form and in the international platform as well or not.

Except for Tilak Verma, the rest of the team's other batters could not succeed in scoring runs. This is the reason why two changes were seen in Team India's playing XI for the third match. Kuldeep Yadav has got a chance in place of Ravi Bishnoi, while young left-hander Jaiswal has been included in place of Kishan. Fans congratulated Jaiswal for making his debut.

Talking about the match, Windies skipper Rovman Powell won the toss and opted to bat first. He said, “We’ll bat first. Looks like a little slow wicket. Holder in the last game picked up a niggle to his knee. He misses out, Chase comes in. Guys are excited, we are on the doorstep of history. They have such quality players, have to keep them on their toes. If you become predictable, they will destroy you," the Windies skipper said.

On the other, Indian skipper Hardik Pandya said, “Don’t mind chasing. Obviously would’ve preferred to bat looking at the surface. Might get slower. It is what it is. Pooran has been batting very well. Would like to keep things simple to him, rather than trying a lot of things. Two changes, Yashasvi makes his debut, and Kuldeep comes in for Bishnoi. Ishan misses out,"
