Sunrisers Hyderabad finally got their first win in the Indian Premier League 2023 against the Punjab Kings in their second home game at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. After losing the first two games, the Orange Army finally showed up to the party, much to the delight of the stadium's thousands of fans.
Kavya Maran, the daughter of Kalanithi Maran, the founder and chairman of Sun Network and the team's owner, has been a consistent supporter and a regular feature in SRH's games. The camera loves Kavya Maran in every SRH game because she isn't afraid to show her emotions and she keeps appearing on the big screen.
On Sunday, April 9, she was displeased with the camera's constant focus on her. She was visibly irritated and said to the cameraman, "Hatt yaar (Go away, man)." The incident occurred in the 19th over of Punjab Kings' innings, with captain Shikhar Dhawan batting on 90, and the video has since gone viral.

In the meantime, Sunday was a happy day for all SRH fans. Everything went right for the Sunrisers against the Punjab side, from the toss to the final boundary hit by Rahul Tripathi. Leg-spinner Mayank Markande, who came in place of Adil Rashid, took four wickets, and despite Shikhar Dhawan's one-man show for Punjab, they restricted the visitors to 143, a below-par score on a good surface.
The Sunrisers were in trouble after losing two wickets, but Tripathi's unbeaten 74-run knock off 48 balls, along with skipper Aiden Markram, ensured that the home team did not lose any more wickets and chased the total down with 17 balls remaining.
"It was a bit rough for us at the start but we are happy to win today. I believe that our great fan base was a privilege tonight. To get a win in front of them was very pleasing. Identifying how we can get better was quite important. But it was still about believing in ourselves," Markram said after the team's win.
