Carlo Casemiro is all set to leave his favourite club Real Madrid. The confirmed news arrived earlier and the midfielder will now play for Manchester United. A leaving ceremony was held for the Los Blancos legend and many are yet to accept the fact that the Brazilian is moving on.

Many players from the club have come forward in wishing Casemiro well and the midfielder himself has opined that he needs a change of culture. He will represent the Red Devils as he has been roped in with a four-year deal. The player will earn a whopping 18 million euros a year. Regarded as one of the best midfielders at present, this deal marks a new beginning for both the Whites and the Red Devils.

I felt that my cycle here was over: Carlo Casemiro

Carlo Casemiro attended a presser after the leaving ceremony and said that his cycle was over at Real Madrid. He added that he needed a different culture and wanted to experience the English league.

“I felt that my cycle here was over. I love the Premier League and wanted to play in it,” Casemiro said. “I needed a change. Throughout the season you can be under stress, but when the season’s over and you’re still considering these changes, it’s better to be honest,” he added.

He expressed his gratitude for the team and thanked his fans for their tremendous support. He went on to thank the management for understanding him and respecting his decision. “I’m thankful that they listened to me, this is a big change because of everything I’ve won and how I’ve developed at the club,” he said.

Carlo Henrique Casemiro’s era at Real Madrid has come to an end. But for every sunset, they say, there is a sunrise and the fans await his rise at Old Trafford.
