Team India is set to take on Australia in the second Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Ahead of the match, both teams are practising hard on the ground. However, India’s star batter Virat Kohli got an opportunity to drive down memory lane because of this match. Kohli who will be playing an international game at his home ground after four years posted an emotional story ahead of the game.

On Wednesday Kohli posted a selfie of him driving to Arun Jaitley Stadium and took social media stir. "A long drive towards the stadium in Delhi after ages. Such a nostalgic feeling," he captioned the story. Notably, Kohli played his last international match at this venue in March 2019 against Australia. His records at this ground have been amazing as he has scored 715 runs in 11 matches. Kohli hit 243 against Sri Lanka the last time he played a Test match at the iconic venue back in December 2017.

It will be the first time when Virat Kohli will play in front of a pavilion named after him. In November 2019, the Delhi cricket board inaugurated this pavilion after the name of the ground changed to Arun Jaitley stadium. Notably, the Australian team will be sitting under Virat Kohli Pavilion during the game.

Virat considered himself bigger...: Chetan Sharma

Chief selector of India Cricket team Chetan Sharma has triggered a controversy after he was caught on camera in a sting operation. Sharma in his sting claimed that former skipper Virat Kohli tried to defame Sourav Ganguly.

"Jab player thoda bada ho jaye to usko lagta hai ki vo bahut bada ho gaya, board se bhi bada ho gaya. Toh fir usko lagta hai ki mere ko toh koi kuch kar he nahi sakta. Mere bina to cricket band ho jayega India mein. Kabhi hua hai? Bade bade aaye, bade bade gaye, cricket to wahi ka wahi rehta hai. Toh vo usne uss samay hit maarne ki kosish kari president ko”, said Sharma.

However, Virat’s post went viral on social media and fans trolled the selector for his comments against Kohli. A Twitter user said, “King is back.”
