Amid all the chaos, the board released the squad for the one-day series against New Zealand ‘A’. Much to the surprise of many, the board tasked Sanju Samson to lead India ‘A’ against New Zealand ‘A’. The public did not spare a second to slam the board saying that it was done to reduce the damage.
Fans believed that the board appointed Sanju Samson as the captain only because of undue pressure from social media. A few even speculated that it was done to calm the fans.
