After the Indian giant, Virat Kohli took to Instagram to express his disappointment over a privacy breach in a Perth hotel, the management came forward to issue an apology for the same and said it values its guests to the fullest.

For the unversed, the former Indian skipper expressed disappointment over a video that surfaced on the internet. In the video, hotel staff was seen capturing Kohli’s room, which was a clear breach of privacy and many fans, who were anguished by the same, took to their social media accounts to slam the hotel management.

Crown Perth hotel management responds

Crown Perth hotel’s management was quick enough to issue an apology after their reputation took a massive hit. Commenting on the incident, the management said in the statement that it values the customers and also vouched for the privacy of those who stay there.

“The safety and privacy of our guests is our number one priority, and we are incredibly disappointed this incident has occurred. We unreservedly apologise to the guest involved and will continue to take the necessary steps to ensure this remains an isolated incident,” Crown Perth hotel management’s statement read.

“We have zero tolerance for this behaviour, and it falls well below the standards we set for our team members and contractors. Crown has taken immediate steps to rectify the issue. The individuals involved have been stood down and removed from the Crown account, and the original video was swiftly removed from the social media platform,” it added.

“Crown is conducting an investigation with the third-party contractor and will take any further steps necessary to ensure an incident of this nature does not happen again. We are also co-operating with the Indian Cricket team and the Cricket’s governing body to convey our apologies and will continue to work with them as we progress the investigation,” read the statement further.

In other news, the Indian team under Rohit Sharma will take on Shakib Al Hasan’s Bangladesh on November 2, Wednesday. After losing against South Africa on Sunday, the Men in Blue will look to come back to winning ways in the ongoing 20-20 World Cup 2022.
