Cristiano Ronaldo accuses media of spreading rumors; assures of revealing 'truth' in a couple of weeks

Cristiano Ronaldo has been trending for months now. And he has been firm in his decision to leave the club. However, Manchester United football club were insistent on not selling the player. The legend missed out on the pre-season matches citing personal reasons. He did feature in the match against Brentford in which the United faced a humiliating 4-0 loss.

The star football, however, recently uploaded an Instagram post, which has shocked the entire Football fraternity. Cristiano Ronaldo has assured that he will reveal the 'truth' in an interview. The Portuguese legend accused the media of spreading rumors and assured of clearing the air in a couple of weeks. He explained about the notebook that he has and added that only five out of the hundred news about him were right.

"They know the truth when they interview in a couple weeks. The media is telling lies. I have a notebook and in the last few months of the 100 news I made, only 5 were right. Imagine how it is. Stick with that tip," Ronaldo commented.

The 37-year-old veteran did not shy away from accusing the media and said that he'll reveal the truth very soon. The Red Devils have kept everything under the carpet and the star striker is yet to clear the air regarding the issue.

Erik ten Hag, earlier, revealed that the striker was not for sale. He revealed that the 37-year-old was on the United FC's plans for the season.

"We are planning with Cristiano Ronaldo for this season and that's it. I'm looking forward to working with him. I don't know , he hasn't told me this. But Cristiano Ronaldo is not for sale, he's in our plans and we want to get success together," ten Hag told earlier.

The tables have now turned and with Ronaldo promising to clear the air surrounding the issue, fans are already thrilled to get a hint about the situation at Old Trafford. As of now, the Portuguese star remains with Manchester United.
