Virat Kohli is back in Mumbai after the final group game versus Netherlands on Sunday in Bengaluru. The former Indian skipper is set to link up with his teammates ahead of the 1st-semi –finals of the ODI World Cup 2023 against New Zealand on Wednesday.

The 35-year-old is very protective about his family and his personal life. Both Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have formed a protective wall around their young daughter Vamika. The duo have always wanted privacy when it comes to their daughter and on Monday it was no different.

Virat Kohli played a crucial role with the bat and ball for India during the 160 run win over the Netherlands. The former India skipper scored 51 runs and picked 1/13 with the ball as India ended the group phase matches unbeaten from 9 games.

Virat Kohli makes a polite request to journalists

Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma are back in Mumbai after the final group game on Sunday. The former Indian skipper will play a huge role when the men in blue take on New Zealand in the first semi-finals of the ODI World Cup 2023 in Mumbai.

The journalists were out in drove when they saw the former Indian skipper with his family. Virat Kohli could be heard saying “Yahin pe karlo, gaadi ke pass nahi. Subah Subah uthke aaye hai please. Arey beti ko ghar lekar jana hai”

The Indian team scored 410 runs from their 50 overs and bowled out the Dutch for 250 runs. This win was the 9th for the Indian team to go unbeaten throughout the ODI World Cup 2023 group phase.

Virat Kohli scored 51 runs from 56 balls with the bat with 5 fours and a six. With the ball the local hero picked the wicket of Scott Edwards for 17 when he was caught down the leg-side by KL Rahul.

Rohit Sharma got the final wicket when he had Teja Nidamanuru caught for 54. The Indian team will now wait for the Kiwi side to exact revenge for the 2019 ODI World Cup semi-finals loss. It was under the captaincy of Virat Kohli that India lost the game by 18 runs and missed out on a chance to play the finals in heartbreaking fashion.
