The Ram Temple in Ayodhya is going to be inaugurated on the 22nd of January where prime minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest. There are a lot of celebrities and known figures who have been invited to the ceremony for the Pran Prathishtha of the new idol of Lord Rama. This will be a global event with a lot of audience who will be looking forward to seeing the new temple be inaugurated in Ayodhya. There have also been some cricketers like Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, and Sachin Tendulkar who have also been invited to the ceremony.

However, there is one Hindu cricketer from far away who might not be invited but is still a huge devotee of Lord Rama. He is none other than Keshava Maharaja who is currently playing the SA20 for Durban SuperGiants. He might have been born and brought up in South Africa, but after all, is a Hindu at heart. He has also been seen praying to the holy man in the dressing room multiple times. Keshav might be one of the best spinners for his nation, but he still holds the Lord's name in high regard and has always prayed for whatever he has achieved due to the blessings of Lord Rama.

Keshava gives his wishes to the inauguration

Recently on Social media Maharaja has sent his wishes for the inauguration of the temple in Ayodhya giving his best wishes.  He respected the notion of inaugurating the temple at the birthplace of Rama and gave all the best wishes for the event. He ended the video in the end saying “ Jai Shree Rama” as usual. Maharaja seemed genuinely pleased with the event happening and we will not be surprised if he will be witnessing it on his television screen as well. This is great respect shown by the cricketer who has still not forgotten his roots.

Maharaja has once again shown his devotion and sharing his roots openly with everyone to see. The amount of love and devotion he has for Shree Rama is  really great. The amount of respect he has for the religion despite being raised in a foreign country is incredible as well. We hope that Lord Rama is also staying beside Maharaja through thick and thin as well and has his blessings throughout the end of his career and life. There is huge amount of respect for Maharaja from India as well and we wish him all the luck.
