India Women Cricket team celebrates their victory
The time is to celebrate for India Women Cricket team as they won the only Test against England Women by a massive margin of 347 runs. This is also the largest victory margin ever in Women’s Tests. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur and India Women management and staff will be happy with the exceptional performance that they displayed at the DY Patil stadium in Navi Mumbai. This will give them a lot of confidence in test cricket and will go from strength to strength. This is also the biggest moment in Women’s cricket, which will go in the history of Indian cricket and will be cherished in the future.
The India Women team were also seen celebrating with loud cheers and praises. Everyone in the dressing room were chanting and clapping at how well they performed against a top international side. The early wickets of Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Varma did not affect the India Women batters as they came back with four 50+ scores from debutant Shubha Satheesh, Jemimah Rodrigues, Yastika Bhatia and Deepti Sharma in the first innings which was enough to achieve a massive total of 428. The England Women were rattled out for 136 runs, thanks to the amazing spell of Deepti Sharma who took a 5 wicket haul. With a massive lead in hand India Women set the Target of 479. The England Women were once again rattled for 131 and lost the game by a 300+ run margin.
The India Women players have all the reason to celebrate this remarkable victory. Everything in the game went as per their plan and the result speaks for itself.
