The Boxing Day Test is currently in the balance as the Pakistan pacers have put the hosts in a spot of bother. Australia are not currently at 187-6 at the end of day 3 with a lead of 241 runs. This is the first time the Pakistan players had a hold on the Baggy Greens who were in control for the majority of the game. This still does not mean that Pakistan's job here is done as they still have to bowl out the Aussies and make sure that they are chasing a decent total in the second innings. Let’s see if the South Asian giants can finally come back into the game and beat them at the humongous Melbourne Cricket Ground(MCG).
The MCG is no doubt one of the most iconic cricket grounds in the world and the biggest stadium with a capacity of over 100,000. With the dimensions and crowd, there is no surprise why all the Boxing Day Tests are played at this ground. This match between Australia and Pakistan could also be one of the iconic matches as well. There have already been a lot of great moments in this game apart from the action on the field which everyone has enjoyed to the fullest.
Hasan Ali and the MCG crowd
Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali was involved in one of the most iconic moments in the match. Ali was on the boundary line during the third and final session of the second day. He was seen grooving with the crowd and having fun. It was also great to see the people join him as well and move along. This made some people nostalgic for how Merve Hughes used to interact with the crowd as well. This was surely a good gesture by Ali to the crowd as well and he finished it off by applauding the crowd.

It was great to see some joy from the Pakistan players as well since they were having a tough game at that point as well. What normally is supposed to be a series with a lot of drama is turning out to be a series filled with good spirits and pleasant moments. This shows how the game is changing where there are not a lot of arguments and fights, but there is fun, excitement and great spirits among the two teams. Hopefully, this can be an example of how teams compete down under where they can feel the pressure.
