‘Jaiswal Supremacy’ - Fans react as Yashavi Jaiswal scores his first Test century at home against England

Yashashvi Jaiswal has just scored his second hundred in Test and his first Test hundred at home. His first ton came against the West Indies. His knock came against England on the Day 1 in Visakhapatnam.

While the second Test ongoing in Vizag between England and India. England came into the second Test with 1-0 lead.  England won the first Test against India in Hyderabad.

Yashashvi Jaiswal has just scored his second hundred in Test and his first Test hundred at home. His first ton came against the West Indies. His knock came against England on the Day 1 in Visakhapatnam. His hundred came in 151 balls with control strokes while playing.

In the first Test match against England three Indian batter scored 50+ runs in the first innings. Rahul Dravid that big scores were missing that costed us the match. Even though India scored 436 runs and led by 190 runs England dominated the second innings. With the help of Ollie Pope brilliant knock of 196 runs England manged to score 420 runs and gave target of 231 to chase. Indian batter couldn’t cope up as England won the first Test match against India.

Yashasvi Jaiswal becomes 15th opener to score a century

In the second Test match against England as Yashashvi Jaiswal made his half-century he made sure he gets into three- figure mark. While batting Yashasvi Jaiswal changed his gears that he couldn’t do in first Test. As captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and choose to bat first both the openers took time to set as new ball was given to James Anderson and Joe Root to open the bowling attack.

For India Yashasvi Jaiswal has now become the 15th opener to score a century at home against England. He has also become the first Indian opener to a hundred against England since Rohit Sharma in 2021. Yashasvi Jaiswal has joined the elite list of players who have achieved this land-mark.

Yashasvi Jaiswal scored his hundred by going down the track and hitting a big six to Tom Hartley. He celebrated his century by removing his helmet and received loud applause from the fans and dressing room.
