The CEO of Cricket Australia reacts to a feud between Mitchell Johnson and David Warner. Nick Hockley let the opinions of the two individuals be opinions. The two former teammates had exchanges against each other a lot in the last week or so. It caused tension among the two cricketers off the field, which has led to a certain disturbance in Cricket Australia.

Following the incident between the two, the CEO of Cricket Australia has replied about the exchange between the two. Nick said that the opinions of the two should remain as opinions. Hockley felt that the issue should not be stretched longer, which could get ugly for both parties. Hockley shifted the attention of the reporters to somewhere else and talked about the performance of Australia in the recent few years.

"A fair amount has been said, and everyone's entitled to their own opinions. I think what you've seen over this year and the last two years is the current men's team in all formats playing in great spirit," said Hockley. The focus of the CEO of CA was on the big tournaments Australia has won in the last two or three years, which has put them at the top again on the cricket map.

'I know that this team really wants to do its talking on the pitch' - Nick Hockley

Hockley praised the Australian team for its achievement in the ODI World Cup 2023. The CEO CA felt that Australia wanted to do all its talking on the pitch. "The success of the World Cup is being hailed as arguably the greatest World Cup victory out of the six to beat India in India. I know that this team really wants to do its talking on the pitch," added Hockley.

Johnson attacked Warner by talking about his involvement in the sandpaper gate. The former Australian pacer asked Warner how he could set the date for his retirement against Pakistan, as he was being a liability to the Australian team in Tests in the past two years. Johnson said that Australia honored someone who brought disgrace to their cricket.
