Axar Patel enters top 5 in T20I bowler rankings

The Men in blue have been doing well in the T20I format and have been giving great performances and are currently the number 1 ranked team in the rankings. There have been a lot of talented players with consistent performances in the shortest format as well. The likes of Surya Kumar Yadav and Rohit Sharma are some of the big names that have been involved in the success of the men in blue. The amount of talent available in the ranks is another asset to the team who has only seen more success than failure in the shortest format so far.

One player who has been one of the underrated superstars for the Indian team is Axar patel. The star all rounder from Gujarat is known for his accurate left arm spin bowling and handy cameos down the order with the bat. Axar has proved himself on the big stage in T20I’s taking 49 wickets in 50 innings at a wonderful economy of 7.26. He has also shown the same consistency in Tests and ODI’s as well and has already taken more than 150 wickets in international cricket.
